Environmentally-Friendly Recycling Services Coming to BC’s Capital Regional District

Emterra Environmental, a Canadian leader in recycling resources management and waste diversion, has been awarded its second consecutive contract with British Columbia’s Capital Regional District (CRD) to provide recycling collection services to 124,000 homes in 13 municipalities including Colwood, Equismalt, Highlands, Langford, Metchosin, Oak Bay, Saanich, Central Saanich, North Saanich, Sidney, Sooke, Victoria and View Royal, as well as the Juan de Fuca electoral area.

Emterra Environmental Helping Cosmopolitan ‘Green’ Saskatoon Apartments and Condos

Under contract with Cosmopolitan Industries (Cosmo), Emterra Environmental is helping ‘green’ apartments, condominiums and townhouses across Saskatoon. After beginning delivery of the 3, 4 and 6 yard bins in late fall, Emterra and Cosmo report that 87% of them are in place and the residents of those buildings have started to recycle.
