Emterra Group is pleased to have been named as finalist for the 2018 Nature Inspiration Awards – presented by the Canadian Museum of Nature.
“This spring, Emterra Group was nominated for the Canadian Museum of Nature’s Nature Inspiration Awards in the large business category,” says Meg Beckel, President and CEO of the Canadian Museum of Nature. “I am very pleased to announce that the jury has selected Emterra as one of our finalists. Congratulations for this national recognition!”
The Nature Inspiration Awards recognize individuals and organizations that, through their work or specific projects, encourage Canadians to take an interest in natural history, create links with nature and contribute to its preservation.
“The Museum’s vision to inspire understanding and respect for nature aligns perfectly with Emterra’s mission to enable all to be environmental stewards,” says Emmie Leung, Founder and CEO of Emterra Group. “As a service provider for environmental services, to be recognized by the Canadian Museum of Nature shows that our message is spreading past just our industry and is being heard in other sectors and by other audiences across Canada. This is an honour for our organization and for our mission.”
This year’s finalists in the Large Business Award category include CN, IKEA Canada, the Canadian furniture manufacture Keihauer and Emterra Group.
Previous winner in the Large Business Award category have included Coca-Cola Canada, Teck Resources Ltd. and Cascades.
One Grand Prize of $5,000 is presented to the winner of each category. Winners are encouraged to donate these funds to one or more programs outside of their organization.
