Another Shred-A-Thon happening in Chilliwack

December 01, 2016

Join us in the Cottonwood Mall parking lot for a Shred-A-Thon on Saturday, December 3, from 10:00a.m.-2:00 p.m. Local residents are invited to bring personal documents and paper to be securely shredded and recycled. Cardboard for recycling will also be collected – all items are collected and recycled at no charge.

Emterra Environmental, along with the Salvation Army and Shred-it, will be accepting food and cash donations from those who wish to contribute. As well, Emterra Environmental will continue its tradition of matching cash donations up to a total of $2000. All cash and food donations support the Salvation Army of Chilliwack.

This semi-annual event is sponsored by Emterra Environmental and our partners, Shred-it, the City of Chilliwack, Cottonwood Mall, and The Salvation Army of Chilliwack. Running since 2009, the semi-annual event has donated over $25,000 to the Salvation Army of Chilliwack and thousands of pounds of food to the community.
