From October 5 to 31, 2026, you can submit a request to exchange your current black garbage cart size if it is not meeting your household's needs, at no cost.
Green organics carts only come in one size and therefore cannot be exchanged for a different size.

Keep using your current black cart until it is exchanged.
Exchange Periods:
If you submitted your request between:
- October 5 to 17: your exchange is set to take place between November 2 to 16.
- October 18 to 31: your exchange is set to take place between November 17 to 30.
During your exchange period, place your current black cart in a location on your property that is visible and accessible from the road. Do not put it at the curb unless it is your regular collection day.

You may receive a cart that has been gently used and cleaned.
