Make Your Contribution at the Curb: Courtenay-Comox
As part of Emterra Group’s “Make Your Contribution at the Curb™” program in the Courtney-Comox area of Vancouver Island, BC, Emterra partnered with the Comox Valley Healthcare Foundation (formally the St. Joseph's Hospital Foundation) to help enhance health care for local residents and to improve the environmental health and well being of communities where Emterra provides resource recycling and waste management collection and processing services.
Comox Valley Healthcare Foundation
The Comox Valley Healthcare Foundation's mission is to raise funds to sustain and enhance quality healthcare within the community hospital. The foundation was established in 1995 to raise funds, create awareness, promote and further aims, interests and objectives of St. Joseph’s General Hospital. Learn more
Progress to Date
Emterra has already made several donations to the foundation. The first donation of $1,679.94 was used to purchase an incubator. The second donation of $3,415.18 helped the hospital buy cardiac equipment. The third donation of $6,130 will be used for cancer care expansion at St. Joseph’s, click here to learn more about the latest announcement. Emterra has set a goal to donate $20,000 by 2018.
